The Nominees for Dissidia's Remake Are

This is only a fan fiction. Don't take it seriously. I'll be scanning candidates from Cosmos's side first, okay!

1. Zack Fair - Before I start with this post, there have been rumors mowing the gaming sites about a possible remake of the best fighting game for the PlayStation Portable - this has become imminent since fans craved for additional characters which made the franchise more successful than ever. Talking about success, what better way to start this post by giving Zack an entry to what is to become a more challenging Dissidia expansion.

Pros:

Zack is a good choice for any despite of Cloud having to grace Final Fantasy VII as its representative, I'm also thinking about Vincent Valentine but, Zack is a more balanced and potent fighter than he is. He can cast spells and he's the second original wielder of the Buster Blade plus, his Ex-Mode will probably turn out as the Digital Mind Wave hammering foes with skills similar to those of Cissnei and Genesis.

Cons:

Can't think of anything that would ruin Zack as an entry though, I find it very disturbing to see him whack legions of Sahagins with an umbrella. Story wise, Zack might overshadow Cloud's murky presence and revert the FF7 saga. Be careful on this one, boys.

2. Yuna - Summoner-turned-sphere hunter, Yuna is the perfect choice to make Cosmos's team a bit feminine. I've got some issues about Final Fantasy X-2 but, I'll just let that hang for a while. Yuna can be paired with Tidus or she can side with Terra teaching her values and stuff.

Pros:

She'll be on her FF X-2 design, that's for sure and I'm thinking that the skill sets of changing Dress Spheres during battle is the bomb. Similar with Cecil, when Yuna shifts to a Mage sphere, she'll be granted destructive spells cracking down foes with chain lightning and meteor showers. Maybe I'm doing all the job for Square here about my ideas nonetheless, she's a good pick.

Cons:

I once read in an essay that her stint as FF X-2's lead character almost killed Enix of its fan support because of the horrific changes the game had to undergo. I just hope that FF X-2 elements won't be added into Dissidia's impressive fighting platform or else, Yuna will die along with it.
